Tucked into the quiet residential streets of Ebisu, this is LEMAIRE's world flagship — and it announces itself as nothing of the sort. A 1960s private residence, carefully renovated, where traditional Japanese plaster walls, bamboo sudare screens, and shoji panels coexist in unhurried harmony with European vintage furniture and the brand's signature fixtures. It feels less like a shop than like visiting someone's home. Works selected by Makoto Kobayashi of Out of Museum — folk crafts and art objects — are displayed throughout, and the space regularly hosts exhibitions and concerts, making it a quiet cultural crossroads in a city that rarely slows down.
